Hey, I’m Schree.
Cultural Preservationist. Social Entrepreneur.
Heritage Practitioner. Creative. Author.
My passion for safeguarding traditional knowledge, customs, and natural resources is centered around my deep love for sustaining cultural diversity within modernizing communities.
I work to build economic power from the ground up, championing artists, cultural preservation, and local entrepreneurs so communities can stay rooted in their heritage while shaping what comes next. As an advocate for racial equity and human rights, I proudly use my experience in social justice to connect communities to their most valuable resources.
Tending to the Roots
Roots first: I start with where people and traditions come from, tracing practices and stories back to their sources before sharing them.
Community as the authority. Elders, families, and culture keepers hold the knowledge. I work with them, not around them.
Preserve by practicing. Heritage stays alive when it’s cooked, taught, worn, and passed on, not only archived.
Connect the diaspora. I link communities worldwide to show how our stories connect.
Honor and credit. I name the people and places where knowledge comes from.
Build with purpose. This work is a vehicle for cultural continuity, with income that sustains the work and the people behind it.
Educate through experience. I use storytelling, travel, people, and life realities to make history personal and accessible.
Think in generations. Every project aims to leave something lasting for the next generation.

Random Roots book is available NOW!
Random Roots is an open invitation. To travel more curiously. To listen more closely. To look a stranger in the eye and recognize something of yourself looking back. To understand that no matter how far history has carried us from one another, our roots have always been reaching, underground, toward the same place. We were never as separate as we were told. Rooted in every story the world forgot to tell.
What brings our roots together?
Conversation. Culture. Community. Continuity. Celebration.
Lets Connect.
